I think the hardest part of this move (besides being away from family) is being away from my scrappy stuff and digi scrappy stuff. Boy we miss each other......poor things tucked away in a cold cold warehouse............
I have been in on a couple new and upcoming ideas...........I cannot wait, it looks like a fun and challenging challenge hat that I am going to embark on with my sis........
Then today I also found out about a Rhonna give-a-way........this could be to win a digi kit of hers.........and wow, they are amazing. No one can do swirls and flourishes as she can!!! So go check out her blog........and spread the word!

Well I really hope this new endeavor with my sis pans out, it sounds like a fun opportunity and such a fun time bouncing ideas off of each other...........ooppps........cannot say more.

Scrappy Store!!
Well, we got our Protege last night from the shipping company, YEAH!!
That meant that I could have some "mommy time" without freezing my tootsies off!!
Well I ran to one of the local scrapbook stores to check it out. It looks nice, they had tons of daisy bucket (the headquarters are near here) and they had some BG, FP, MME, Zutter, and many others. They have a cropping area. One thing I liked is they have an area where you can buy single flowers, buttons, brads, etc for 5-20 cents a piece. The owner seemed really nice, I think her name was Kathy. Thye have Friday night crops and classes. The selection isn't huge but it seems like she has up to date things and plans on going to CHA in January.
One neat thing is she does a yearly retreat, not sure how big it is, but it is in April........boo.......I will keep looking for a retreat for June if I can get Shel up here!!
They have a Yahoo group where she give out special discounts, like right now they are doing a 12 days of Christmas and are doing %off certain products and such.......
I will definitely have to check back when I have money to play.

Going Crazy!!
Well, I didn't realize how terrible it would be to be without my scrappy things and my computer. Thanks to my dh I can get online to post on the blog and chat with scrappy friends, but my goodness, I already miss scrapping and it has only been a bit over a week!!!
I am really looking forward to Christmas because I know that my sis wrapped a package for me that measures 12x12 so I am hoping it is paper........maybe I can get a glue stick, use my kiddos scissors and print some pics at Wally's so that I don't lose my mind :)
I hope to get a house (rental) and then set up a scrappy spot as soon as possible, even if it is in my bedroom!! At the very least I will have my computer (once I kick my kiddos off) and I can digi scrap!!
Hope to see you all scrapping soon!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!
Wow, my sister surprised me last night with an awesome baby album of little Madison. But the best part is, it was all a collaborative effort by the wonderful ladies at Sassy!!! Wow, talk about speechless! To have these ladies do this for me was just spectacular and it is an amazing album. Unfortunately I am packing away the computers in less than an hour for our move but when I can I will take pics and post them ASAP!!
THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH Sassy Friends!!!
You really touched my heart!

Digi Fun!
I thought I would start off my scrappy blog by sharing some of my digi layouts. I don't get much of a chance to share my digi layouts since I am not an active member of a major digital scrapping site. Sassy is becoming more digital and they are definitely more open to digi layouts so I have shared more there. I think that some people feel that digital is a quick way to scrap and almost is "cheating" but I tell you, I usually take longer to scrap a digi page then to scrap paper.
I love digi and paper scrapping and do them about equally. I think it depends upon my time. When I am holding the baby, I certainly cannot paper scrap, but I can usually digi, so that is a big advantage. This is why I started digi in the first place when my now 2 year old was born. Now with my little girl I can also scrap even though she demands a ton of attention.
Anyhow, I created this slideshow to kind of catch a glimpse of what I have done recently in my digi scrapping. I hope to do the same in the near future with my paper scrapping too. Maybe I can get that done before the move, cross your fingers.
